❣️As we approach the month of November, we begin to see across the country thousands of volunteers working with the poppy appeal.
❣️It is a time where we see people from all walks of life come together and pay respects to the soldiers who gave up their lives so we can live our lives today.
❣️The reason as to why we have freedom, democracy, values & a way of lives is due to the thousands of lives lost.
❣️The poppy is much more than a symbol, it tells a story which will be remembered for generations to come.
❣️Wear your poppy with pride to show respect to our fallen heroes. I urge everyone to spare some time this year to go out and volunteer and support this years poppy appeal.
❣️And to are serving members of our armed forces who spend long periods of time away from their loved ones to protect us- I salute you !
