Commendation British Muslim Awards

I am delighted to have received a Commendation in “Young Achiever” category, in tonight’s British Muslim Awards Ceremony. I want to congratulate the winners & finalists in all 33 categories.

I am truly honoured and appreciate the recognition from the British Muslim community. I hope I continue to be a role model and break stereotypes.

I want to put on record a big thanks to my colleagues, friends and family for all their support. A special thanks to the Tatton Conservative Association.

I entered politics with the intention of standing up and creating a voice for young people. It is vital that young people get more actively involved in politics as it is our future.

Finally,I would like to thank everyone who nominated me and thank the British Muslim Awards & Oceanic Consultants for giving me the honour to attend today’s ceremony.
